The storks were in a quandary; delivering babies as a business model was on the decline.  FedEx, UPS and the new Postal Service plan just made it too hard to compete financially.  Maybe a contract with UNICEF could pull them through . . .

Stalking Threat

Juan had been very confused. Sure, he’d been a little thick-headed when his girlfriend called it quits, and perhaps he’d been a little too persistent. Then the girlfriend’s attorney, from New Jersey, told him they were getting a restraining order barring him from “storking” his former love.  It took a while for him to understand that “stalking,” for the Joisey guys came out “storking.”

Red Neck Blues

Jerome was growing more concerned by the day; as he matured, his neck grew to be bright red.  Just last week he had been called a Communist, a Republican, and a Good Ol’ Boy, but what if his not using sunblock had let skin cancer get started?  What was the fix, remove his neck?  He guessed that option was better than nothing, but he would look kinda short and stumpy, like a lot of the rednecks he had seen on TV. . . . .  David, Sf.G.
