A Tattoo?

Elton (pictured) was well educated; he had a degree in Political Science from the University of Phoenix (on line); he knew the words to all of the Lady GaGa songs, and he did quite well with them at Karaoke night. But he was a flop with chicks–he couldn’t get a date to save his life. He wondered if getting a tattoo might help as part of an extreme makeover. . .

Fine Dining

Lorraine, always conscious about self-improvement, a foodie, and a bit of a snob, decided to broaden her horizons by taking a course from the University of Phoenix (On-line) called “Raptors, Rodents, and Road-kill for Fine Dining”. The lizard pate had been okay, but not stunning. She had higher hopes for the mouse mousse she was preparing today.

Batteries Not Included

Cammie loved her new city car–all electric, Al Gore approved, developed by the University of Phoenix (on Line) and the good news, no charging problems.  Just replace four AA batteries.  They were good for up to 50 miles if she only hauled one bag of groceries or didn’t use the optional bluetooth toothbrush option while waiting in traffic . . .

Lounge Lizard

While consulting with his on line counselor at the University of Phoenix (On Line), it turned out that the only musical program available to Henry was Lounge Lizard (certified).

Alternative Energy

Gerry had been quite keen on the concept of alternative energy, that is, until he went to a seminar in downtown Houston sponsored by Al Gore, Lady Gaga and some illustrious professor from the University of Phoenix (on line).  The argument for wind and solar energy was compelling until Al suggested Gerry mount solar panels on his wings to generate power as he cruised, and have a small wind turbine fitted to his beak to take advantage of the high wind speed as he dove.  The question was, where was he supposed to put  the batteries, because a cord sure wasn’t going to work? . . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Owl Years

Cyndie, while watching Cesar Millan, the “Dog Whisperer”, heard him trying to clarify the concept of “dog years” .  He indicated that each dog year is thought to be 7-7 1/2 human years by researchers at the University of Phoenix (on line) and others.  Cyndie wondered how that translated to owl years or even if any research had been done.  Maybe this could be the subject for her doctoral thesis . . . .  David, Sf.G.
