Low Bidder

Horatio had gotten his Masters degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Phoenix (on line) and, like the wildcatters of old, found what he thought should be a great oil well prospect and asked for bids to drill.  He was beginning to think taking the lowest bidder may not have been the best choice . . . .  David, Sf.G.

The Door

After getting her degree and then her masters in finance at the university of Phoenix (on line), Angelica  had found that unless someone could open doors for her, getting a good job was difficult if not impossible.  And then the text had come to her iPhone giving her an address and telling her don’t knock, just open the door and come in for an interview.  While eager for the job, there was something just a little ominous about the door; would there be health insurance with a dental plan?. . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Delicate Skin

Greta (her friends called her “Whitey”) chided herself–she knew better; she had an advanced degree in dermatology from the University of Phoenix (on line).  There is no way she should get this much sun without  at least SPF30 UVA and UVB sunblock.  But for the moment, the warmth just felt so good . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Out Standing in her Field

RoseAnne (pictured, in blue, center) had gotten an advanced degree, graduated with honors from the University of Phoenix (on line), and was considered to be outstanding in her field, but she felt like she just didn’t fit in.  Sometimes being a loner wasn’t so bad, but often, she missed the social interaction.  One of her friends over lunch one day said, “Just ask what would Lady Gaga do?” but RoseAnne thought it would be easier to ask, “What wouldn’t she do?”. . . . .
