Wholly Cow

When a group of cannabis-smoking, new age holistic mystics saw Lucy’s ears and head appear to be on fire, they approached the rancher and asked to buy her.  The rancher told them no: It was just a trick of the light, she was wholly cow, not a holy cow, and besides, she had a calf to nurse . . .

Frizzy

First it had been  Madonna, then Pink and Lady Gaga, now Frizzy thought she would have a go at the pop music circuit.  Her first single hit, “Howl like a she wolf,” while short on actual lyrics, carried with it with raw emotion of the head back, wide-open-mouth canine howl at the moon that some claimed she borrowed from Texas Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee when complaining about George W. We’d Rather Go to the Mall

First, the Republican candidate for governor–the guy in the wheel chair–came to bend their ear, then the “Big Hair” blonde Democrat came with her pitch, followed by the paparazzi.  When the pollsters finally rolled in, trying to see which way the girls were leaning and wanting more of the girls’ time, they said, “No thanks, we’d rather go to the mall . . .”
