Cold Feet

Henry hated to admit it–he’d never Tweet it or post in on his Facebook page at the risk of being called wimpy, but dang, he really had cold feet flying here in Alaska.  He wondered: “Shouldn’t I be able to find something, anything, in the way of foot warmers on Amazon or eBay?” . . . . . Anchor Babies

Elaine had been born in Canada, near Revelstoke, B.C., but had spent her first winter in Mexico, in the Gulf of California.  Now here she was two years later in Northern Idaho with a bunch of ducklings who were clearly U. S. citizens.  She was having an uphill battle trying to convince her friends the little ones weren’t just anchor babies, after all, they didn’t get free school lunches or have medicaid cards.  Should she, though, be worried that ICE would come checking passports?. . . . . Cyber Bullying

Gwendolyn had been born with the prominent overbite and in spite of big bucks at the orthodontist for braces, she still had to live with it.  Otherwise she was a beauty, but the cyber bullies as school just wouldn’t let up, some new Facebook post or Tweet every day, sometimes more than once.  Often they cruelly Photoshopped her picture taken from a cell phone and layered on a horse upper jaw, or an elephant trunk, always cruel.  The school officials tried but couldn’t catch the perpetrators, but Gwendolyn was pretty sure it was those snooty Coot chicks with their oh-so-cute little white beaks; being bigger, maybe she could get them out in back of the school one afternoon, get out the duct (duck?) tape and show them how bullying was done. . . . . . Concerns

When the CIA and NSA team tried to recruit her, Josie was pleased that her abilities had been noticed and, goodness knows, she could use the the generous salary and the benefits.  Carrying the miniature fiber-optic camera was no problem, her maneuverability was unrivaled, but she had concerns when they started talking about the mount points under her wings for the hellfire missiles . . . . . Career Choices

Ignacio (center) was a natural and gifted speaker, and he  seldom was quiet as a result.  He loved the sound of his own voice, and so he saw his career path as Politician, pastor of a mega church, personal injury lawyer, or stand-up comedian   It was tough to choose . . . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Hard To Swallow

Jim told his wife Gabby that he was having a hard time swallowing the government’s new healthcare law.  She told him if he didn’t finish swallowing that bullfrog he caught a little while ago that was stuck halfway down his throat, he was going to need more than government healthcare to swallow anything,  . . . .  David, Sf.G.  Enjoy your favorite vintage AGR’s by going to agrphoto.net.  Feel free to share with your friends.
