Huey had come to Los Angeles to try for a part in one of the Transformer movie series, or maybe a spin-off of one of the Godzilla flicks, and had counted on perhaps being a parking valet to pay the bills while waiting for his big break. For some reason, the rich guys and the cool chicks didn’t seem to want him driving their cars, even just to the parking lot. They kept muttering something about Betelgeuse on the seats and steering wheel . . .
Dino had shipped his resume and photo to several of the Hollywood studios, trying for the next new apocalyptic/monster movie, offering himself to play the monster. When he went to the studios to try out for the part, the director said, “You’re awfully small.” Dino couldn’t help himself and blurted out, “So is Tom Cruise!”
