Flower Power

Bernie Sanders seemed to be drawing large crowds, even larger than Hillary, but someone in the media pointed out they all seemed to be products of the 60’s–Flower Power ex-hippies.  The big question was, would they–through their medical marijuana haze–remember to vote, or even that there was an election, not an anti-Vietnam war rally?

Save the Ta Ta’s

To show their support for breast cancer awareness,  the girls  all wore pink when in public and got “Save The Ta Ta’s” bumper stickers for their cars.  They also made  their husbands get pink Ducks Unlimited bumper stickers for their trucks . . .

Networking Guy

When Glenn heard that the heir presumptive to the Speaker job had bowed out and that you didn’t have to be a congressman to be Speaker, he immediately sent his resume.  He was the ultimate networking guy, and that should prove valuable. When turned down, he blamed it on “arachnophobia.”

Campaign Speeches

After meeting India’s new Prime Minister Modi, one of the US Presidential candidates was so impressed he returned the favor and visited PM Modi. He asked how he won so handily. “It was easy,” said the Prime Minister, “I just showed the voting public where all of my competitors’ ideas and speeches came from . . .”

No Water Shortage

California had a water shortage and lots of thirsty people–Montana had lots of water and not all that many people.  Governor Brown of California, along with George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, Lady GaGa and the Michael Jackson heirs are lobbying the president to use an executive order to annex Montana as a new county and water source for a thirsty California.
