Out on a Limb

Michael had bought his Speedo just a little too big, and on the first dive–well, it was gone.  Out on a limb, hiding and waiting for everyone else to leave, he felt as vulnerable as Al Sharpton with a tax audit . . .

Skin Condition

Vinnie had always wanted to be a politician, maybe start running for school board, work up to county commissioner, then try for the House, or maybe governor.  His concern was that he didn’t have smooth skin–everyone knew politicians were supposed to be slick.  His dermatologist suggested that he cut back on his insect consumption and try more green leafy vegetables, avoid direct sunlight, and get more exercise.  He was having trouble with the green leafy vegetable part, they kept sticking to his long sticky frog tongue and were hard to swallow.  How do you enunciate clearly while giving a speech with kale stuck to your tongue? . . . . . Don’t Call me Normal

Congreve (his friends called him “Grevie”) prided himself on doing the unusual, including walking upside down to impress the girls.  His motto was, “Call me normal and I’ll have to sue you for defamation of character”. . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Technical Difficulties

After reading the online reviews of the new iPhone, Herbert was convinced that it was his tool, his destiny, but when it arrived, and he tried to use the touch screen to program it, not much happened.  A closer look at the specs revealed that the touch screen is heat sensitive, and it had a warning that the touch screen may not work well for cold-blooded users like frogs, politicians or tort lawyers in less than summer-like conditions . . . . .  David, Sf.G.
