The storm had taken quite a toll, but now the calm gulf waters were back, the blue skies and the tourists. Joseph (not pictured) had rebuilt before, but was getting tired; leaning in fact towards quitting, collecting the insurance and moving to Nebraska . . .
The girls had made the trip all the way from Bangalore just to see the last David Letterman show only to find out the travel agency had not gotten tickets for them. Now they were being herded like cattle to low rent, third rate tourist attractions no one wanted to see. The herd wasn’t being heard . . .
