Shark

Overboard

Ezzy knew her husband, E-Man, used to watch some fishing show where the host released every bass he caught, but not until hi kissed it (or seemed to kiss it).  When E-Man begin kissing fish, she thought it a little strange, but she really got concerned–thought he’d gone overboard–when he kissed sharks. Not only did his breath smell “sharky,” but what if the shark wasn’t really dead and bit his lip or nose? How would she explain that to the neighbors . . . .?  David, Sf.G.

The Kiss

As a child, Manny had heard the fairy tales about the girl kissing a frog and the frog turning into a handsome, wealthy prince. Then there was this Jimmy guy on Saturday morning fishing shows that kissed all the bass he caught before releasing them or putting them in the cooler.  Manny couldn’t recall any legends that involved kissing sharks, but he hoped two things; that the shark was really dead, and that his wife never found out . . . .  David, Sf.G.
