Twyla Sue’s husband had cautioned her about reading “50 Shades of Gray”–the book and reality may be somewhat different; so no need to get her high powered romantic hopes up. But, she reasoned, he hadn’t said anything about listening to the audio book version. She was so engrossed that she hadn’t heard him come in, and embarrassed, she tried to pull out her earbud, but only got the wire, leaving the offending earbud solidly stuck in her ear. How was she going to explain that bill for the ENT doctor to her husband . . . ?
