Tough Sledding

Kenny was often puzzled by his girlfriend Ginnie’s literal mind.  When he told her that their canoe trip down the Kootenai river that spring was going to be “tough sledding,” her response was, “What happened to the canoes?” and “Do sleds float well enough . . . ?”

Rock Concert

It had been billed as a Montana Rock Concert, and true enough, the rocks were there, but it was hard to imagine where the music came in.  Little rocks falling from or on big rocks may have passed for percussion, but this was to have been rock, not hip-hop/rap, both genres where not only is music not heard, it isn’t even desired . . .

Not Updated

When Louise picked up her rental car at the airport, the counter guy pressed her to take the GPS option–no way she could get lost or be late with the latest technology.  Within a short time though, when she came to the bridge, she was pretty sure that the GPS or the satellite data base hadn’t had an update in recent times . . .

Waterfront Property
