A selection of Bugs
Bug Years
Joanie (top) and Howard (bottom) had heard that dog years are shorter than human years, it took 7 (some say 7 1/2) dog years to make one human year. How many bug years would it take to make a human year, they wondered . . .
Goodbye to the AlGoreRhythms
Al Gore, in addition to inventing the internet and saving the planet, was also a musician; in fact, he had his own band–the AlGoreRhythms. While Al wrote the lyrics for all the songs, all of the music was computer generated (a special algorithm) and was a fusion of techno-retro-soul.. Gloria (pictured) was a huge fan; she had been to AlGoreRhythm concerts & had all their DVD’s, so she was extremely distressed to hear that the group was breaking up. “Oh well,” she thought, “there is always YouTube.”
Dancing With the Stars
Ruthy (pictured) was over the top ecstatic; she had been accepted for Dancing With The Stars in a December Holiday showing. She had asked that her partner be Jonny Depp or Tom Cruise, or as a third choice, Matt Smith of The Crown, which shows on BBC. She had to remember that dancing with eight legs was going to complicate things. Most importantly, this was not mating, so she was not to eat her partner when the dance was done, right there on National TV . . .
Chemical Warfare
With all the outrage at chemical warfare, Dewey (with wings) and Louie (with petals) had been trying to urge their congressman to do something about ongoing chemical warfare right here in lawns around the country . . .
Dancing Lessons
Judy quickly learned that teaching ballroom dancing was not as easy as she had imagined when more than one pair of legs per student was involved. Maybe the “Watusi” or the “Locomotion” or “The Twist” would work better . . .
Too Pink
The Lefties said she wasn’t blue enough, the Righties said she wasn’t red enough, some girl singer said she was infringing on her “PINK” trademark, and the Feds said she needed an environmental impact statement and Federal permit or she had to quit growing and spreading pollen on Federal land . . .
