Kammi had always wanted to be a Jackrabbit, but she didn’t have the ears. When she heard that humans got “nose jobs” and other “jobs” to enhance certain body parts, she wondered if she should live the dream and get an “Ear Job . . .”
No Takers
Seeing many professional and college athletic teams bowing to political correctness and changing their names from a Native American variation to something else caused Howard make a concerted effort to get one of the teams to be named “The Cottontails” but had no takers. He thought them shortsighted. Cottontails were fast– legendary sprinters–and could (and would) really dig in when the going got rough. What more could a team ask for in a mascot and namesake?
