Kathleen was tired of the wrangling between the Red and Blue parties and occasionally the Independents and and the Liberterians (who knew what color they claimed to be?). And then for years, Ralph Nader had championed the limp, ineffectual Green party. Why not have a new party–the white and pink flower party– instead of trillion dollar budgets, all flowers needed was water, sunlight, and fertilizer (and the present politicians had plenty of that).
