Belize’s Parliament, after hearing that the cold snap in the midwestern US reached all the way to Texas, decided to send some foreign aid. They figured 50 lbs of Habanero Peppers should take care of Texas and part of Oklahoma. Maybe Honduras and Guatemala could chip in to help Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Questionable Provenance
Jim and Lizzy had made some “tax free” money they wanted to deposit in an off-shore account. The funny little fellow they met in the hotel bar in Belize City seemed to be legitimate, so they gave him traveler’s checks to deposit, with the promise of a receipt when they met him at his office later.
