Early AlGoreRhythms

Even at a very young age, Al Gore (pictured (left) with Violin) was very ambitious;  In addition to planning to be a ruler of the free world,  invent the Internet, and save the planet, young Al had a strong musical talent.  Above is a recently discovered photo of him showing his typical strong leadership by organizing an early version of his band, the AlGoreRhythms.

Hot Stuff

Snow Tires

Trudy (not pictured) had driven all the way from Florida to see Mt. Rainier and somehow imagined she could simply drive to the top and enjoy the view; after all, she had a Subaru with “symmetrical all wheel drive.” As she got closer, she began to think that she might also need snow tires.

Home Improvement

Jack (pictured, blue shirt) had seen the Marble Arch in London and thought it would be just the thing to spiff up his ranch in Montana; to his surprise, it was not for sale, at any price. What’s more, none of the home improvement stores back home–Lowe’s, Home Depot–had any plans available or ideas on how to build one; they couldn’t even suggest a contractor, although he found two offered on eBay and three on Craigslist for Nigeria.
