Sushi Ninja Warriors

Esteban was glad for the work–he had been trying to break into acting here in LA for some time.  It was a bit part, a crowd scene in the new Jackie Chan movie “Sushi Ninja Warriors,” but it was acting–although he thought pinkish orange wasn’t a very ninja-like color. . . . .  David, Sf.G.

A Long Wait

Bernice had diabetes and blood pressure issues, and when she woke up feeling poorly, she went to the ER for help.  When she checked in, she was told, “Have a seat; we’ve been really busy–the doctor will get to you as soon as he can.”  She was beginning to think they had forgotten her entirely, or perhaps  she should have chosen another hospital;  it was taking the doctor an awfully long time to get to her. . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Some Assembly Required

Jim Bob, aghast at ever rising power bills, decided to convert his cattle ranch to a wind farm, so he sold the tractors and equipment and ordered several of the new high tech  wind turbines.   When they arrived, he did recall that the website he ordered from had said “some assembly required”. . . .  David, Sf.G.
