Elvis Impersonator

Elvis (yes, it’s his actual name; his mother had been a big fan) liked to get away from the usual Jailhouse Rock, Heartbreak Hotel, and Hound Dog imitations and considered his specialties to be Fun in Acapulco and Viva Las Vegas.  His reaching out for an Elvis-like version of Yellow Submarine hadn’t been as well received . . .

Skimming

Giselle and Chuck had both gone to work for Wal-Mart at the same time and quickly were promoted to cashier and head cashier.  However, both soon came under suspicion of skimming from the cash flow.  Their lawyer suggested that that a huge settlement could be had–just because they were skimmers genealogically didn’t mean they were skimmers financially . . .

Dismal Failure

Lyndon Johnson’s wife, Lady Bird, had enjoyed huge success when she planted wild flowers along along many of the Texas highways, creating a stunning sight every spring.  Her attempt to reforest lower Manhattan along the Hudson River hadn’t enjoyed the same success. . .
