Cross Pollination

Kiki and her twin sister Cookie were good girls from a good family, but it was spring time, and the pollen was in the air . . .  They had listed their Facebook status as single but looking, but already that bad boy across the field, the one with the crooked petals, was claiming on his recent Facebook status update, and on Twitter, that he had cross pollinated with both of the sisters one breezy day. How were they going to put that lying piece of slander to rest and keep their good name? . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Name Change

Culturally it was probably unavoidable; her parents saw no other possibility of calling her anything else but Rose.  If only they had broadened their horizons just a little and thought of Sue, Lily,  Gwendolyn, even Twyla Jane, life would have been better . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Lady Gaga’s New Do

Conceptually, Lady Gaga liked the casual windblown look, but the color concerned her; she was worried that maybe the audiences might confuse her with her musical competitor, Pink.  . . . .  David, Sf.G.

Kinsey loved her new blue spiky hairdo; it simply defined “cool”.  She did wish there was something she could put on it so that it didn’t attract those white gone-to-seed windblown dandelion puffs.  They looked pretty tacky stuck on the spikes but they were so light, she didn’t feel them or know they were there until one of her friends pointed them out.   Maybe she could find something at the mall or on the net. . . . .  David, Sf.G.
