Autumn Maple leaves

Karen’s mother had been right; she should have used sun block.  But Karen (pictured, center) refused to give her mother the satisfaction of always being right, so she would  just have to slather on the olive oil and suffer in silence and hope this wouldn’t cause basal cell carcinoma some day.  She did wish her Nordic/Viking genes would have let her tan instead of burn . . . .
