  • Everyone has heard of the legendary giant alligator(s) that live in the NY NY sewer system, so to maintain credibility, Mayor de Blasio hired Oscar from NOLA with a promise of (again, legendary) huge rats and the occasional Republican.  Yet here on New Year's Day, not only were there no rats--politicians or otherwise--there wasn't even a slice of legendary NY NY pizza . . .

As the sun sank slowly in the west somewhere near Galveston, Snuffy the Wonderdog (not pictured) wondered if NY NY’s mayor, Bill De Blasio, really liked his job. “True,” thought Snuffy,” he did run and win, but some people just can’t let go even if they don’t like the taste of what they have sunk their teeth into.”

Dismal Failure

Lyndon Johnson’s wife, Lady Bird, had enjoyed huge success when she planted wild flowers along along many of the Texas highways, creating a stunning sight every spring.  Her attempt to reforest lower Manhattan along the Hudson River hadn’t enjoyed the same success. . .
