Quit Whining

Alonzo knew his world view might be somewhat limited, but he wished the Al Gore/Michael Moore and Hollywood/entertainment expert crowd crew would quit whining about global warming; two or three degrees warmer would feel pretty good right now. Upon Reflection

When the photographer from Texas asked to take Bruce’s picture, promising to send him a print, he thought why not?  Upon reflection, he thought that it would probably end up in National Geographic, the photographer getting big bucks, and Bruce getting  nothing but a copy of the magazine and a photo he could frame . . .

Great Expectations

Lysette had been careful to keep her weight down during her pregnancy and had kept fit and was truly looking forward to surprising her husband on their upcoming anniversary weekend with something special.  She was pretty sure Victoria’s Secret would have what she needed, but her expectations were not to be fulfilled.  Victoria’s Secret had almost nothing in her size. . . . .  David, Sf.G.
