Luis (pictured, on left) was trying to explain to Sasha, his new love interest (pictured, right), that he had not been drinking; the red around his eyes was a strange allergy to some kinds of feathers. Dr Oz, Dr. Phil, even Dr. Seuss hadn’t been able to help. Maybe a beer might actually help.

You Should Have Used Sunblock

Jimmy’s wife was alternating between trying to comfort him and being angry that he hadn’t used the sunblock she so carefully gave him before the offshore fishing trip. “What if you get skin cancer from the sunburn? We don’t have insurance.  What would I tell my friends–my husband died of cancer of the face?”

A Good Mani-Pedi

Dolores had had a terrible week: her boyfriend threatened to leave, she lost her job, and she was informed by her car insurance agent that the company was not going to cover her recent accident.  She felt somewhat guilty using the last bit of room on her Visa card, but remembered her mom’s words, “There isn’t much a good mani-pedi can’t fix.”
