Julian’s New Music Genre

Close to finishing his doctorate in musicology, Julian decided something new was needed for his thesis. He decided to create a whole new genre of music; R&B, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Punk, Grunge, Hip Hop, Narcocorrido, Disco, whiny Emo, and other styles being old stuff. He was going to launch “Stink” and create a black and white fashion industry to go along with it. The new color was colorless (white) or all colors at the same time (black) . . .

Not Satchmo

Huey and Dwayne had to admit it, their buddy Louis (center) was one heck of a trumpet player, Jazz, blues, and classical; in fact he was the one that had gotten them the summer gig in the trumpet section with the Canadian Brass doing a traveling J. S. Bach recital featuring Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor.  But they still weren’t going to call him Satchmo when the chicks were around.. . . .  David, Sf.G.
