Blue State

New Party

Kathleen was tired of the wrangling between the Red  and Blue parties and occasionally the Independents and and the Liberterians (who knew what color they claimed to be?). And then for years, Ralph Nader had championed the limp, ineffectual Green party.  Why not have a new party–the white and pink flower party– instead of trillion dollar budgets, all flowers needed was water, sunlight, and fertilizer (and the present politicians had plenty of that).

Wrong Color

Lionel wasn’t blue politically, and he wasn’t red, but that didn’t mean he was a hybrid–some of both.  In fact, he kinda’ liked Worf, from Star Trek, with maybe Barney (Purple Barney from Sesame Street, not Barney Frank) as Worf’s running mate.  Maybe Miley Cyrus as Secretary of State and Lady Gaga as Secretary of Defense  . . . . .  David, Sf.G.
